From 4-LOM to Zuckuss presents the first in a new series of Action Figure Checklists. This checklist represents one-of-everything Kenner originally intended for retail within its Star Wars action figure line; which was launched in 1977 with their Early Bird Mail-Away offer. The following is the basis for our Retail Checklists: This list does not include any loose variants, package variants or items from Kenner's international affiliates such as Palitoy, Glasslite, Lili Ledy and the like. Each toy will be broken down into the following 8 categories, when applicable: Basic Figures, Deluxe Figures, Multipacks, Creatures, Vehicles, Playsets, Accessories and Mail-Aways. All names/descriptions listed are taken from the toy's packaging upon its initial release. All figures, creatures and vehicles available with that item will be listed. Unless individually numbered, [...]
Artist Jason Chalker AKA"Manly Art" has created a very cool and unique vintage collectible: Pimp2-D2. His new spin on R2-D2 is not a custom of the vintage figure but a newly cast mold in resin based off of the original droid. As the package indicates (and more likely motivated by Lucasfilm intimidation) this is not a toy but a collectible. Originally offered at last year's New York Comic-Con, Pimp2 was released online through The Manly Art Shop this past December. The purple droid retailed for $50 but like most vintage-themed Star Wars items, proved to be very popular and is now sold out.

Camera! Action (Figures)! " which is our expanding filmography of all Kenner and Hasbro Star Wars action figures on the small and big silver screens. The Mythbusters season opener set out to prove plausible or not three scenes from the Original Trilogy. These included the Death Star chasm swing, the Ewok log vs AT-ST attack and if a Luke could have survived long enough within a Tauntaun for Han to build a shelter. The latter of these was of course were The Vintage Collection Tauntaun appeared as [...]
With today's announcement that Star Wars comics will return to Marvel Comics has brought out more mixed feeling then we would have thought. Also these press releases leave so many questions unanswered! Star Wars press release Dark Horse press release Our top 5 unanswered questions: Will Dark Horse comic continuity be completely sweep aside leaving us with three distinct comic book universes? Will Marvel publish more or less Star Wars comics as it is just a drop in the bucket to their overall library? Any chance that they can mimic what GI Joe and Transformers has done and pick-up where the original Marvel series left off? Will the switch to Marvel entice Hasbro to revisit the Comic two-pack concept which they are currently doing in [...]
