Leland Chee’s Selig Kenjenn Figure

On today's episode of The Star Wars Show, featured a segment on Leland Chee, Lucasfilm's Keeper of the Holocron, which included his Hasbro action figure. Chee's figure, Selig KenJenn, is based off of his illustrated likeness and was also named by the Star Wars content historian. This figure was released in a 2013 Toys 'R' Us exclusive multi-pack along with Jedi Que-Mars Redath and Khaat Qiyn (both of which who were featured in Attack of the Clones) and Clone Captain Deviss (who like Kenjenn did not appear in the Prequels). Jedi KenJenn is just one of the many figures Hasbro has created that have been based on non-actors like Chee. Others on the list include the Maker himself George Lucas as well as his three children, Hasbro [...]

Welcome 12″ Figures to the Site

We are happy to announce the addition of the modern line of 12" action figures to the site! We're working on adding the vintage and early Hasbro Collector Series lines as well to the site as well as the 6" lines (yes we said lines). We are even attempting to collect more information about the 2" line of figures from Episode I which we so highly covet. But to get us started on our non-3 3/4" figure coverage, we are starting with the understandably least popular line of 12" action figures (even though we dig them) the Hero Series assortment. From4-LOMtoZuckuss.com Presents: Star Wars 12” Action Figure "Hero Series" Checklist At about the same time that Disney began reducing the articulation of their 3 3/4" line of action [...]

The Reissues Awaken

Unlike movie-based lines of the Prequel Era, The Force Awakens line seems to be offering up a fair amount of figures reissued from previous lines. Yakface.com confirms (via BB-8 News Facebook page )what we discussed on the last Galaxy of Toys Podcast; that a Slave 1 with Boba Fett will be coming in TFA packaging. Another set of reissues that appear to be coming are two Epic Battles Toys 'R' Us exclusives. The 6-pack sets appear to be themed by trilogies and offer figures that save for Qui-Gon appear to all be 5 POA reissues from the last few lines. This reveal also comes from a Facebook page. When and if these will be released stateside is still unknown. How many more reissued sets or figures [...]

Vizago’s Vanishing Gun

It appears that Hasbro is pulling a few new tricks out of their bag. In the newest wave of Mission Series packs from the Rebels Saga Legends line Hasbro has created a holster which can fit a sidearm much bigger than the acutal holster. Here you can see Cikatro Vizago's blaster next to his holster. The blaster is clearly longer but once you place the pistol in the holster you can see that it fits completely into the holster. Hasbro's new design allows the weapon to go inside the figures leg thus keeping the accurate dimensions of the character's accessories as seen in the computer animated series. This is a simple yet very effective feature for this 5POA figure.  This takes us back to discovering that Kenner's Han [...]
