The lastest Disney Droid Factory Build-a-Droid, BB-BOO20, has now been added to our visual guide. The figure is a simple repaint of their BB-8 buck which entered the line in June of 2017. This figure joins the previous 4 Halloween-themed droids by being released in August. With only one park currently open in the US, obtaining this figure has become more difficult with many folks resorting to the inflated prices on eBay. No word yet if this will become available on ShowDisney.com or app. At the time of print, only The Rise of Skywalker set and the Sandcrawler playset are currently on the app. We'd highly recommend the Sandcrawler especially for fans of The Mandalorian. But speaking of available sets, if you have a Disney [...]
We have created a new database for Hasbro's new Galaxy's Edge-themed Droid Depot Build-a-Droid figures!
Following a similar timeline of the past few years, since Disney started producing Holiday-themed Astromech droids in their park exclusive Droid Factory line, August has been the release month for their Halloween-themed droid. This year, BB-BOO20 (BB for the type of droid, BOO for Halloween and 20 for the year) joins the ever-growing list of buid-a-droids Disney has produced over the years. While we have yet to see the back of the card which typically gives a sentence or so of background about each droid, this one appears to be on Pasaana by the look of the front of the card. For a look at each and every Disney Droid Factory Build-a-Droid released to date, make sure to check out our visual guide here! [...]
We have updated our Disney's Droid Factory Build-a-Droid Guide to include the most recent Droid Factor releases. Added to the database are last October's The Rise of Skywalker 4-pack, November's Holiday droid and December/January's The Rise of Resistance vehicle set. We have added the part-breakdowns for all of the sets and added images for the first two. We hope to have all four versions of the new vehicle set in April when our main Disney operative Agent Curtis heads to WDW. But in the meantime, enjoy the update by clicking the pic below and we'll make sure to update it as new sets and/or information is received/released.

We are excited about this new set and plan on adding it (along with the last two releases) to our Build-a-Droid guide this holiday season! The following is a brief description of the collectible: Guests can purchase a collectible toy inspired by the attraction vehicle. The item will be available [...]

This follows the tradition that began in 2015 with The Force Awakens of having a new multipack for each new film. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Star Wars: The Last Jedi Solo: A Star Wars Story This latest set based on droids from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will retail for $29.99 and like the entire Droid Factory Build-a-Droid line it is exclusive to the Disney Parks. The great thing about these sets is they have in the past brought collectors droids which Hasbro has not [...]

With just 10 days until the official opening of Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland, we are getting excited not just an amazing immersive Star Wars experience but for the latest additions to the Star Wars Droid Factory line. As revealed at Star Wars Celebration Chicago last month, two new multi-packs and a playset will be joining the line which has been in continual production since 2012. In speaking with the designers of this line, we were able to confirm that the 3 3/4" Build-a-Droid line will continue but not as a part of Galaxy's Edge or the Droid Depot. We also learned that there will be another upcoming Holiday exclusive droid and as the holiday season for Disney begins in August, it is unclear on which holiday [...]
Disney's Droid Factory Sandcrawler crew to date! Thanks to TOY RUN: The Star Wars Action Figure Cast listener Sammy L., we have received and added the Disney Parks exclusive Droid Factory Sandcrawler Playset to our Build-a-Droid Guide! The set is rather fantastic, as it, like its predecessor the Starspeeder 1000, has lots of sounds and light-up features. One of the stand out features includes a working electronic droid elevator. The set is very large and more than doubles the Kenner version which was re-purposed in the Hasbro line in 2004. The Jawa figure (left) included with the set features ball-jointed shoulders and swivel wrists but no other articulation. The mold is different but very similar to Hasbro's Jawa figure (right) from The Black [...]
