With the announcement of the next Star Wars Celebration being in Los Angeles, we got really excited and decided that day commemorate the reveal but opening a Star Wars action figure each and every day. Life has grown ever increasingly busy with careers, kids in junior and high school, aging parents and all of the other things that makes life worth living. And while we continue to collect and love collecting, opening and "playing" with our toys often takes a back seat, which is how it should be. And while we regret nothing, he have decided to replace 15 minutes usually spent doom-scrolling about whatever political and/or social issue is taking place that day, with making a short video on opening a Star Wars action [...]

“Beyond 1985” Emerald City Comic Con Edition

On Saturday, August 20th, 2022, Jake Stevens will be returning to the panel stage at Emerald City Comic Con after a few years off to present "Beyond 1985: The Legacy of Kenner's Star Wars Action Figures". He will be joined by his Galaxy of Toys Podcast co-host, Ryan Beise aka MrByZ's Toy Reviews on YouTube. This will be the panel's sophomore outing, following its debut "sold-out" presentation at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim this past May. New 9.5″ Figure Line Found

Back in March, our friends at Yakface.com posted glam shots of a new 9.5" figure line. These figures feature very limited articulation and retail for around $10. Thanks to our good friend Paul Van Dyk, we can now confirm this line has been found at retail. At first glance, while they appear to be similar to the Value line of the recent past, these are actually new sculpts. Each figure appears to include a single accessory and has three points of articulation (3POA). The Reveals, Sneek Peeks and Debut of #GOROGUE

The plans for Rogue One merchandising have apparently been activated as today we have received a landslide of news pertaining to what toys will be available on September 30th! EW.com revealed a collection of Jyn Erso action figures from multiple toy lines that will be debuting next month.  This appears to be not only a great way to show off the main character but also to make amends for the #wheresrey controversy from earlier this year.
