2016 Review & Hope for 2017!

Happy New Year to you all!  We here at From4-LOMtoZuckuss.com have had a great year when it comes to not only Star Wars figure collecting but with Star Wars in general.  With our friends over at Jedibusiness.com, we successfully launched the weekly podcast TOY RUN: The Star Wars Action Figure Cast where we have interviewed many prominent members of the collecting community including our friends Gus Lopez, Steve Sansweet, Bill McBride, Tom Berges as well as Hasbro's Design Director Steve Evans.  We appeared on the Collectors Galaxy podcast, on another episode of  Retroblasting's Star Wars Follies and co-hosted an episode of Star Wars Action News.  We attended Star Wars nights at both the Tacoma Rainiers and Seattle Mariners, we hosted a panel on Star Wars action figures at Emerald [...]

Rogue One Half (A Star Wars Parody)

Jordan and Cody from jorcomedia.com, the team behind last year's Star Wars Celebration Fan Film Awards Best Comedy winner "Bounty Buddies", have written in to let us know they have dropped their latest stop-motion short film: Rogue One Half (A Star Wars Parody).  The film which is perfectly timed with the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story later this week, takes a look as the Rebels' attempt to defeat an AT-AT. A long time ago, before the Rebels had it figured out... Admiral Ackbar & Mon Mothma led the first attacks against the Empire. With the newly completed Death Star & fleets of AT-ATs closing in, the Rebellion knew that they must act fast, using every trick they know to save the Galaxy!

2nd Official Trailer for Rogue One

This morning as promised on yesterday's The Star Wars Show, Good Morning America, debuted the latest Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer.  This video reveals more of the Dark Lord of Sith and helps paint the backstory for Jyn Erso, the film's protagonist! From a collector perspective, there are a handful of new outfits, characters and vehicles we would like to see Hasbro produce in their action figure lines. A Hasbro Rogue One Unboxing

Rogue One Unboxing

Thanks to our friend Chris Pirillo, Jake and a few fellow collectors were given early access to some Rogue One toys!  This group unboxing includes many of the toys that were released this past weekend during Force Friday.  The big exception, which was confirmed last week by JediDefender.com, was the walking Hasbro AT-ACT which will be released later this Fall.

New Rogue One Disney Park Exclusive Set

The Disney Parks Blog has announced a multipack of new Droid Factory droids based on the upcoming Rogue One film.  This set mirrors The Force Awakens set which was released last year in September as well.  This set consists of four new droids; C2-B5, R2-BHD, R3-M2 and R5-SK1 and only one so far will also be released in the Hasbro 3 3/4" line.  C2-B5 will be included in the upcoming Rapid Fire AT-ACT vehicle.  This multipack is set for release on Force Friday and if like last year's set will be gone from the parks before the movie actually arrives in theaters on December 16th, 2016.
