New Galaxy of Adventures Checklist and Visual Guide

Welcome to the Galaxy of Adventures Checklist and Visual Guide your resource for all the information, checklists and reveals pertaining to Galaxy of Adventures figure line! Galaxy of Adventures is the latest 3 3/4" kid-centered line from Hasbro to feature 5POA (5 Points of Articulation). What sets this line apart is that each figure is packaged in a plastic tube that includes a mini-comic from Disney's graphic novel adaptations of the films and for the most part are all reissues of previously released figures. The major difference with these figures is that they have had their Force Link chips removed. Retail for a basic figure rose from $7.99 to $9.99 a piece. Hasbro’s Star Wars Celebration Exclusive Details

We've received additional details from Hasbro about their upcoming 'Duel of the Fates" Star Wars Celebration Chicago exclusives. Both Black Series figures will retail for $24.99 and be available at additional conventions in the future. Solo’s 12″ Captain Phasma, She’s Real!

After being teased for months on the 12" reissues of Wal*Mart's exclusive R2-D2 and BB-8 in SOLO packaging, we now have confirmation of Captain Phasma's existence. Thanks to  collector and all around great guy Paul Van Dyk, this 12" reissue (from The Force Awakens line) has been found in Canada. We expect that just like the two Astromech droids before her, this figure will eventually trickle down into the states in the following months. Clad in distinctive metallic armor, Captain Phasma commands the First Order's legions of troopers. Having survived the destruction of Starkiller Base, she has a personal score to settle with the Resistance. Star Wars Celebration Chicago Swag

With Star Wars celebration Chicago now just one week away we couldn’t possibly head to the biggest Star Wars party of the year without bringing a little swag. This year we’re traveling a lot lighter than we did last time but we are not headed to the show empty-handed. We are excited to celebrate the upcoming 20th Anniversary of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and to do that we’ll be giving away our very own anniversary button. TVC Checklist & Visual Guide Update

With this week's release of new carded and loose images of Wave 5 of The Vintage Collection over at Hasbro.com we have gone ahead and done a thorough update of our The Vintage Collection Checklist and Visual Guide. We have updated each image to the most recent official packaged version and added release dates for each item. We expect to add to the database next week following Habro's panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago. Toy Story 4’s Kenner Cameo

On an outing to catch Disney's latest animated film adaptation, Dumbo, with the kids, we new to keep a very special eye out in case the latest Toy Story 4 trailer played. We give full credit to the eagle-eyed Dan The Pixar Fan and the numerous folks that gave us the heads up on this cameo. As That Junkman points out, the appearance of two Kenner action figures happens at time-code 1:38 in the trailer which is yet another Star Wars nod. For those well-versed in the vintage line, there is no mistaking the white hear and brown cape of a Kenner Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi. And as for his "friend", could the inclusion of a Kenner Walrus Man be foreshadowing as to what type of establishment [...]

The Barge Has Now Officially Sailed Off

This afternoon, Pacific Standard Time, the crowdfunded Jabba's Sail Barge (The Khetanna) and new centerpiece of The Vintage Collection, went on sale on eBay for international collectors. Four-hundred Barges were put up for Buy It Now and within 9 minutes and 52 seconds, they were completely sold through. Even more impressive is that over 300 of them were sold in the first 2 minutes. Now that what we believe to be the remaining Barges that were produced have been sold, we are now free to guesstimate how many over all Barges were produced by Hasbro. We know Hasbro stated no more than 10,000 were produced. We know 8,810 were crowdfunded by American and Canadian collectors. And now we know that 400 were sold internationally. So [...]

Celebration Exhibitor Lotteries

Starwarscelebration.com has opened their exhibitor lotteries for those who have already purchased tickets to Celebration Chicago. To enter the lottery for Hasbro, LEGO and/or Funko, fans must enter a virtual queue for the chance to purchase the convention exclusives individually. You can learn more about the Hasbro exclusives from our Hasbro press release. Fans have until 11:59 PM, April 3rd to enter to win a spot. Once you have entered you will receive a confirmation email. With 4,000 shopping opportunities and we are assuming Hasbro will allow 2 or 3 per person, there is a good chance 15,000 sets of Maul and Obi-Wan were created.     Funko and LEGO have a history of allowing just one of each item to be sold [...]

International Barge Availability Update

Hasbro has passed along the following update to us about this week's international release date: We wanted to share a quick update that limited quantities of Hasbro’s The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge will be available to purchase here on Thursday, 3/28, at 3PM EST (7PM GMT). Please note, orders of more than 1 Barge or any orders with a US or Canadian shipping address will not be processed. We still have not heard back regarding the cost of shipping internationally but this does essentially answer the number each country will be allowed as it appears with one per person it will be a free-for-all among the collectors from the 13 eligible countries.
