Toy Raid on Rogue Toys, Las Vegas

On a recent trip to Las Vegas with our good friends from IGrewUpStarWars.com, we visited a very cool little toy shop: Rogue Toys.  Located on the south end of the Las Vegas strip (kitty corner from the Pawn Stars site) the shop features a good amount of the its retail space devoted to Star Wars toys.  The owner Steve Johnston has been in the location for just a few months but has already amassed an impressive amount of vintage Star Wars. Lots of loose vintage figures and boxed vintage vehicles, carded Power of the Force 2 figures and various boxed modern multipacks join a healthy collection of Transformers, GI Joes, superheroes and other new and old toys. Pre-New York Toy Fair Reveals

Yesterday Starwars.com revealed a new character which will be making his debut in Star Wars Rebels in both the animated show and its action figure line. http://youtu.be/ulIPyDqppfM Although this video was provided to Germany's Moviepilot.de website a day before it was released in the US, the photo of the C1-1OP "Chopper" was an exclusive to the Starwars.com release. For those expecting reveals about upcoming Hasbro products this last week from the UK Toy Fair held in London, were sadly disappointed as practically nothing was officially announced. 2013 Movie Heroes (Action Figure Checklist)

From 4-LOM to Zuckuss presents the next in a new series of Action Figure Checklists.  This checklist represents one-of-everything Hasbro originally intended for retail within its 2013 Movie Heroes action figure line.  This line was initially intended to coincide with Lucasfilm's release of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones in 3-D, hence it's Yoda-themed packaging, but with the sale of Star Wars to Disney, the film's re-release was cancelled.  Although attendees Celebration Europe II were treated to an exclusive screening. From 4-LOM to Zuckuss presents the first in a new series of Action Figure Checklists.  This checklist represents one-of-everything Kenner originally intended for retail within its Star Wars action figure line; which was launched in 1977 with their Early Bird Mail-Away offer. The following is the basis for our Retail Checklists: This list does not include any loose variants, package variants or items from Kenner's international affiliates such as Palitoy, Glasslite, Lili Ledy and the like. Each toy will be broken down into the following 8 categories, when applicable: Basic Figures, Deluxe Figures, Multipacks, Creatures, Vehicles, Playsets, Accessories and Mail-Aways.
