The Fan Force Was Strong On Force Friday

Wow, what an epic time last weekend was! We are still recovering from our #ForceFridayHangover. We understand that many people came away dissatisfied with their Midnight Madness experience due to the lack of supply at retailers and that can be frustrating for those looking to buy everything in one shot. We will agree that the pegs were less full in the action figure department than any of the four previous midnight releases but that didn’t deter our enjoyment the event because it was the local collecting community which made it a night to remember. Hasbro’s Exclusives Press Release & Images

On #ForceFriday Hasbro dropped the following press release which lists the exclusives that will accompany their The Force Awakens and Black Series action figure and toys lines. We must say we were delighted to see that the WalMart exclusive super articulated 3 3/4" Black Series figures which we reported prior to Midnight Madness turned up officially! Wal*Mart Spy Report: Super Articulated Exclusives

We have received a report from our spy "Long Snoot" from inside the Wal*Mart on Tatooine. According to Long Snoot the following 10 figures are listed in the Wal*Mart computer for a retail price of $12.93: E7 Kylo E7 Firs E6 Vader E4 Chewie E4 Han E4 Luke E4 Prin E7 Poe E7 Finn E7 Rey Now the these figures are currently on order in denominations of 12 and no stores in the region have them on hand. So this means that it is most likely that they will not be available on Force Friday but should be appearing shortly after. September Enters with Force

The first week of September ushers in a massive tsunami of new toys and media for Star Wars fans and collectors to get excited about. The following are some of the major highlights from this epic week in the making. August 30th: This week began with Sunday's release of Disney Infinity 3.0 and its Star Wars expansion sets. The Madness is Coming! #ForceFriday Roundup

With #ForceFriday just 8 days away, retailers are starting to up their game in competing for collector's attention and dollars. Here we'll take a look at the major retailers set to celebration the release of The Force Awakens toys at 12:01 AM, September 4th. Toys 'R' Us The original purveyors of Midnight Madness will be holding their 5th midnight opening for Star Wars toys (all three prequels and The Clone Wars film). According to their website they'll be offering an exclusive poster but no word on the content or producer (Hasbro, Jakks, Mattel, LFL, Disney, etc.?) of said poster. Episode VII Figure Leaks and Thoughts

What started with an ebay auction of a single 3 3/4" Kylo Ren figure turned into a day full of leaked action figure reveals. Flooding social media today, the following are the photos that appeared from @ChuckDukas and others throughout Twitter and Facebook. So far there are 12 basic figures which feature a combiner feature. As it appears in Aurebesh, "COMBINE FOREST GEAR" is written below each combiner piece. The figures appear to follow the Snow/Desert/Jungle/Space themes rumored a few months ago. All but one of the characters featured in the first wave have been seen before. The Action Figure Force Begins to Awaken

This morning we were all treated to the first ever look at a 3 3/4" figure from the upcoming The Force Awakens line! The above image comes from this ebay auction where the figure was sold for $99. The following image comes from instagram user @ChuckDukas who provided JediTempleArchives with the image.
