Birthday Scavenger Hunt – Day 2: Dagobah & Solo

Star Wars Fan Awards 2018

Each year Starwars.com hosts a special Fan Awards contest where fans can submit their video, artistic and/or photographic talents. This year, like many previous, Star Wars action figures are well represented! We are thrilled to see that our friend and amazing toy photographer Jason Yang AKA @workmoreorless has a short video that has been nominated based on those great vintage Kenner Star Wars action figure commercials. Disney Store TBS Exclusives Now Available

With the first of November, we not only get a new month but new figures as well! The Disney Store has released both in store and online their first Hasbro action figure exclusives. Joining The Black Series today was a new battle-damaged Captain Phasma from The Last Jedi, a Stormtrooper with blast fire-accessories, and the greatest bounty hunter of them all, Zuckuss. Now if you are thinking, haven't these already been released; you are correct. All three of these figures were slated as Toys 'R' Us exclusives earlier in the year. But with the collapse of Geoffrey's empire, these figures were picked up, thankfully, by The Disney Store. Hasbro Press Photos from Lucca Comics and Games

Hasbro hosted their first panel ever at the Lucca Comics and Games Convention in Italy today. In keeping inline with their international convention tour reveals, two new figures were shown today which are both set for 2019. The good folks over at www.guerrestellari.net/ live streamed the panel which you can view here: Hasbro once again provided us with official press photos of today's reveals. Mace has long been rumored and Poe is a reissue from the Wal*Mart Exclusive 3.75" Black Series line. We predicted he would see release in TVC in our article "Who Will Be the Next Vintage Collection Released". This should conclude Hasbro's convention reveals for 2018. Hasbro Press Photos from MCM London Comic Con

Coming hot off of the weekend's Comic Con Paris reveals, Hasbro gave preview of two additional figures coming in 2019. At the MCM London Comic Con panel, Hasbro showed off the upcoming Battle Droid figure for The Black Series and a Vintage Collection R2-D2. Hasbro's Star Wars Design Director Steve Evans has stated that 2019 would focus on the prequels and this reveal is inline with those comments. The R2-D2 coming to The Vintage Collection is the same Build-a-Droid (BAD) figure included in the upcoming SOLO: A Star Wars Story figure droid 2-pack as seen here: This particular Artoo, includes 5POA (a removable dome, removable legs, and jointed feet) which is an odd choice for a collector line like The Black Series which includes a [...]

Press Photos from Comic Con Paris

Today at Comic Con Paris, Hasbro revealed their latest new Black Series 6" figure. Keeping with their promise that 2019 would feature more Prequel Trilogy characters, Padme' Amidala from Attack of the Clones will be joining the collection in Spring of next year. Also revealed was the press photo of the Chewbacca that will be coming to The Vintage Collection next Spring as well. This figure was previously seen listed on the back of a TVC just last month. Hasbro has provided us with official press photos of both releases.
