The Mystery of DL-X2

The Background During the Power of the Jedi line in 2002, Hasbro began creating action figure exclusives for the Disney Parks's Star Tours ride. Each figure was based on an actual droid from one of the four Star Tours locations. Wave 1 consisted of three droids: G2-4T, R3-D3 and RX-24 "Rex". These figures were released on Power of the Jedi cardbacks. They were followed by a second wave of figures also in 2002 which included: DL-X2, R4-M9, and WEG-1618. These figures still bore the POTJ cardback. Cassian Andor Will Return!

Today Bob Iger announced a second live-action series will air on Disney's new upcoming streaming network Disney+. The show was first announced during the Disney Shareholders Call. Starwars.com then followed up the following article. Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced today that Lucasfilm is in development on a second Star Wars live-action series for Disney+, the Company’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. The series, which will go into production next year, follows the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
