With Hasbro’s latest update (Version 2.1) of their Force Link 2.0 App, we are given a glance of quite a few figures which have either not been yet released or have yet to even be officially announced. The image above and below are all the of the Force Link 2.0 figures currently listed on the app.
Now what is interesting is both the lack of certain figures from the downloaded app and inclusion of either new or duplicate figures. Now we have gone through and compared what has been released and announced so far to date with what is listed in the app. Let’s begin with which figures and sets are currently missing from the Force Link database.
Just this week, Wave 3 of the Solo Force Link 2.0 figures have begun to hit Wal*Marts across the country and the figure missing from the wave is the First Order Stormtrooper Officer from The Last Jedi. Next, the latest 2-pack which has been found in Canada and features the two figures C-3PO and R2-D2 are missing as well. The overseas online etailer, Robotkindom, has put up for sale a Resistance A-Wing Fighter (Red Squadron) which comes with a Resistance A-Wing Pilot. Now, this set is rumored to be a Wal*Mart exclusive but that shouldn’t matter as there are multiple exclusives present in the Force Link collection database. And finally, the Holographic Maz which comes with the Entertainment Earth exclusive The Last Jedi multipack is missing yet all of the other figures are accounted for.
Now let’s take a look at what is on the app which has yet to be announced and/or is listed in error. We’ll begin by revisiting The Last Jedi multipack. In it, it features a Rey (Jedi Training) figure but the image from the packaging does not match the one on the app. This most likely is a simple error but none-the-less as we have not received any confirmation as such so we’ll treat it accordingly. We also mentioned the last of the First Order Stormtrooper Officer on the app but it does seem odd that a Stormtrooper Officer figure from Solo: A Star Wars Story is listed. Could this be yet another error or a look at what is to come? And finally, there are five additional figures listed on the app which include the following: Imperial Patrol Trooper, Imperial Pilot (from Solo), Han Solo (Mudtrooper), Mimban Mudtrooper, and an Imperial Royal Guard (from Return of the Jedi). As you can see, a second and different image of Han as a Mudtrooper is listed which makes us start to speculate that more 2-packs and/or multipacks are on the way.
