Kenner Cameo: Star Voyager

Big thanks to our buddy Mark S. for letting us know about this latest Kenner cameo. This one occurred on the cover of the 1982 Atari 2600 game "Star Voyager" by Imagic. The cover art is clearly based on Kenner's version of the Millenium Falcon and thanks to a recent gaming expo, the actual model which was referenced in the art has surfaced. "Thanks again to the esteemed Earl Green - we have another photo from the Classic Gaming Expo." We have added it to our ever growing database of Kenner (and Hasbro) action figure cameos which can be found in the pic below! And of course, we are always grateful for any tips and help in hunting down new cameos that have remained [...]

Happy Anniversary to My Brother, Star Wars!

By Jake Stevens As a Bicentennial Baby, I have grown up with Star Wars for practically my entire life.  Not one memory that I can recall comes from a time without Star Wars.  Like a slightly older brother, we have spent more time playing together than any of my "siblings"; G.I. Joe, Transformers, M.A.S.K. and He-Man. The thing that has made Star Wars the sibling that I have bonded most with is that as kid he was always up for playing with my friends, and my family. Star Wars is really the ideal brother as he gives you his complete attention when its just the two of you and yet loves to be shared with the world and put on display for how awesome he [...]

This is the first commercial to truly feature Hasbro's The Black Series 6" figure line and as well as the first to use Kenner figures since the mid-80's. Look for more Kenner and Hasbro ads and commercials in our H.A.N (Hasbro Ad Network) Database.  The database is still in construction yet if you know of or have an entry that should be included please reach out to us on our social pages or at 4LOMKUSS@gmail.com. Spider-Man Collects Star Wars Figures!

Last night Marvel Studios (with some help from Sony) released the first trailer for their upcoming Spider-Man reboot and we couldn't be happier! Spider-Man: Homecoming not only brings Peter Parker back to being lovable (after the failings of Andrew Garfield) but Tony Stark is back to form as well, after a heart-wrenching story in Captain America: Civil War!  Now, what does this have to do with a Star Wars action figure site? Well, during our very first viewing, we discovered Spider-Man or perhaps his buddy, Ned Leeds, shares our passion for Star Wars action figures! Peter appears to prefer vintage figures as not only are some of the figures on his shelf appear to be Kenner but a few other classic vehicles make an appearance as [...]
