The Barge Has Now Officially Sailed Off

This afternoon, Pacific Standard Time, the crowdfunded Jabba's Sail Barge (The Khetanna) and new centerpiece of The Vintage Collection, went on sale on eBay for international collectors. Four-hundred Barges were put up for Buy It Now and within 9 minutes and 52 seconds, they were completely sold through. Even more impressive is that over 300 of them were sold in the first 2 minutes. Now that what we believe to be the remaining Barges that were produced have been sold, we are now free to guesstimate how many over all Barges were produced by Hasbro. We know Hasbro stated no more than 10,000 were produced. We know 8,810 were crowdfunded by American and Canadian collectors. And now we know that 400 were sold internationally. So [...]

International Barge Availability Update

Hasbro has passed along the following update to us about this week's international release date: We wanted to share a quick update that limited quantities of Hasbro’s The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge will be available to purchase here on Thursday, 3/28, at 3PM EST (7PM GMT). Please note, orders of more than 1 Barge or any orders with a US or Canadian shipping address will not be processed. We still have not heard back regarding the cost of shipping internationally but this does essentially answer the number each country will be allowed as it appears with one per person it will be a free-for-all among the collectors from the 13 eligible countries. Jabba’s Barge International Release Date

Hasbro has reached out to us to let us know that The Khetanna (Jabba's luxury barge of choice) will be available in 13 countries/territories outside of the US and Canada on March 28th! It will be sold via Hasbro Pulse's new eBay page for $499.99 US with free shipping. As promised, Hasbro’s Star Wars The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge will be available beyond the US & Canada, in Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, and the UK. The Sail Barge of Our Dreams

It was just over a year ago when Hasbro announced the HasLab initiative and when we couldn't log on fast enough to lend our support (we believe we were just about the 10th backer). For the next 45 days we tracked the daily progress of The Khetanna, knowing full well at first it was not a sure thing but as we predicted (at about the halfway point) the Barge became a reality just before the deadline. “The Parking Lot” – New Site Section

Welcome to our newest visual database on the site: The Parking Lot! Since 2015, Star Wars has produced a massive amount of media in comparison to the proceeding 4 decades. Four films, three animated shows, and various online micro-series have made for a rich and diverse era of Star Wars but it has also become a challenge for Hasbro and other companies to produce the deep character selections they have in the past. Early Look at the Barge on The Star Wars Show

Today on The Star Wars Show, the hosts Andi and Anthony chat with Lucasfilm's Chris Dern about the imminent release of Jabba's Sail Barge The Khetanna. Many online retailers currently offer this wave for sale and they have yet to be spotted at brick and mortar stores.

Hasbro Press Photos from Lucca Comics and Games

Hasbro hosted their first panel ever at the Lucca Comics and Games Convention in Italy today. In keeping inline with their international convention tour reveals, two new figures were shown today which are both set for 2019. The good folks over at www.guerrestellari.net/ live streamed the panel which you can view here: Hasbro once again provided us with official press photos of today's reveals. Mace has long been rumored and Poe is a reissue from the Wal*Mart Exclusive 3.75" Black Series line. We predicted he would see release in TVC in our article "Who Will Be the Next Vintage Collection Released". This should conclude Hasbro's convention reveals for 2018.
