New ROTS TVC 2-Pack!

This past week we learned from Brazil's CCXP25 convention that The Vintage Collection will be releasing a new two-pack of figures: Obi-Wan Kenobi and and Airborne Trooper. This morning Jake Stevens had once again the opportunity to chat with members of the Star Wars Brand Team at Hasbro about the recent Hasbro Pulse Con '22 reveals! He is joined by fellow members of the Star Wars collecting community! May the 4th Livestream Press Release

Hasbro kicked off the celebration of this year's May the 4th Day with their very own Livestream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel! During the Fan First Wednesday event, the Brand Team did announce they would be returning to conventions this month with Star Wars Celebration.   The reveals in regards to what was shown for The Vintage Collection consisted 100% of reissued/repainted figures. The same went for the reissue box set of the Retro Collection that will be at first a Disney Park exclusive. The Black Series faired a bit better with multiple all-new sculpts with Endor Leia, Figrin/Nalan, and New Republic Security Droid. Fan Celebration 2022 Press Release

This week a handful of fan sites dedicated to Hasbro's Star Wars action figures were given shared exclusive reveals as part of Hasbro's Star Wars Fan Celebration event. Bring Home the Bounty – Bonus Bounty #7

Yesterday, Hasbro provided exclusive Star Wars action figure reveals to two different websites: CNET and IGN. CNET was given the latest Black Series figure to showcase which is loosely based on the comic book version of Black Krrsantan. This figure is a repaint of a Chewbacca with a new bandolier. This figure was met by frustration by collectors online hoping to get a screen-accurate version of the character. Hasbro's stance behind Fan Channel (aka e-tailer) exclusive figures such as this are that they are bonus figures in the line and would not normally exist.  Hope by fans that a more accurate figure will be created but with Hasbro's currently MO it will be an exclusive deluxe figure with a lengthy ship date. Fan First Wednesday – February ’22

This morning Hasbro Pulse treated fans and collectors to their first Star Wars YouTube Livestream of the year. While the Livestream only officially revealed seven new items, the final reveal of the bunch stole the show! Each item shown today will go up for pre-order tomorrow February 10th, 2022 in addition, the Omega wave of Black Series figures shown at the last PulseCon and the TVC Yoda. Tomorrow is also when the next Star Wars Brand Team Q&A will take place and so look for a full video of that tomorrow as well. Bring Home the Bounty – TVC & TBS Product Reveals Press Release

Today Hasbro provided us with the latest preorders which go live tomorrow, February 8th. The two new items include one Vintage Collection figure and one Black Series. Both figures are from The Mandalorian and the Vintage Collection figure revealed is a Din Djarin in the Imperial disguise he wore on Morak during Season 2. The second figure announced today is the highly desired Darktrooper. This droid, which has been highly desired since its debut, will be released as a deluxe figure at a higher price point due to the figure's size. Speaking of prices, as rumored a few weeks ago, these figures include a slightly higher retail price than their equivalents from 2021.
