Hasbro Press Release – Black Series Titanium & Centerpeice

Hasbro has provided us with an official press release revealing some of the new items they'll be offering in their 2017 Black Series. Hasbro interestingly will be bringing back their 3 3/4" Titanium Die-Cast Series from 2006. These figures, which commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars, are similar to the original series as they consist of die-casts figures attached to bases.  Not familiar with the Titanium Die-Cast Series? Look for our complete visual guide coming soon!  Another new line announced which sounds familiar is their Centerpiece series.  This line which begins with Luke Skywalker, is very reminiscent of the Unleashed line of figures which debuted in during Attack of the Clones' Saga line.  We look forward to seeing and hearing more from Hasbro about these [...]

Fan’s Choice Polls Are Open at Starwars.com

Yesterday, Starwars.com put up the six finalists selected by select fan sites across the web for which character will be the next 6" Black Series figure. Four of the six nominations from From4-LOMtoZuckuss.com made it into the final poll.  Voting is currently taking place and will continue right up until Hasbro's San Diego Comic-Con Star Wars panel this Friday at noon Pacific. Interesting to note that Hera Sydulla from Star Wars Rebels, who can in #3 on our poll (and #1 over at our friends at Yakface.com), was absent for the final nominees. Hasbro’s Star Wars #HasbroToyPic Finalists

Hasbro has shared their finalist for their Star Wars #HasbroToyPic solicitation earlier this year. If you recall Hasbro requested photos based on The Force Awaken created with Star Wars action figures for use in a photo timeline that will be on display at next week's San Diego Comic-Con. We’re thrilled to announce that Hasbro has chosen their top 24 final images from their Star Wars #HasbroToyPic fan activation program launched earlier this year. Hasbro’s Fan’s Choice Results – Semifinals

Yesterday, the results of our Hasbro Fan's Choice Poll were tallied and submitted to Hasbro.  The results of our poll will be combined with the 18 or so other site's participating and will be presented on Starwars.com for a final fan vote prior to this month's San Diego Comic-Con. This year's results were very interesting as characters no longer a part of the official Star Wars universe dominated many of the polls.  We were not alone in experiencing Expanded Universe dominance.  Our partner on TOY RUN: The Star Wars Action Figure Cast, JediBusiness.com ended up with 3 of the top 4 nominations going to EU characters.
