Yesterday, Hasbro Pulse's official YouTube channel featured an "I Am Your Father's Day" Livestream event where they revealed loads of Black Series and Vintage Collection figures which went up for sale this morning at 10 AM PST. They also provided a glimpse at the future of both lines with new Pipeline looks. On the heels of Gizmodo's reveals, we've updated our Mission Fleet Checklist and Visual Guide. We'll add official photos from Hasbro once they are released (perhaps tomorrow during their Livestream Event) and yes we shed a few tears while making these updates as there still are no Bad Batch 3 3/4" figures and very few Mandalorian ones.
After taking the week off, Hasbro is back for the seventh week on #MandoMonday with new product reveals. Included this week were three new Mission Fleet sets and one fantastic looking Nerf gun. The Blurrg makes its figure debut in this latest wave of Figure and Vehicle sets. Many collectors are already asking how it may scale with the 3 3/4" line showing the need for a heritage scale version, but they will have to wait until Spring to make a comparison. Now before we begin our 2020 coverage of New York Toy Fair with a deluge of press releases, reveals, photos and live-streams, we'd like to take a moment to remember the line you forgot about but one Hasbro did not. Back in 2012, when Star Wars was starting to decrease their 3 3/4" Star Wars output, they put forth at New York Toy Fair a line of Star Wars figures and vehicles, in a new smaller scale, that could be rebuilt to form new and customizable vehicles. The series, called Star Wars AMP'D, was a fully realized line that catered to price points of $7 to $40 dollars and included 2.5"ish figures.
