Tier 2: Finally Baby Yoda (& Carded Too)

Hasbro's latest HasLab the Razor Crest ship from The Mandalorian continues to fly high as it has successfully funded the first tier of 8,000 backers. After funding on the second day, backers were offered an Escape Pod as a Tier 1 stretch goal. This feature, while never featured in Season 1 of the show, fits into the top of the ship. Shortly after the fully funding this morning on the fifth day, the second tier goal was announced in the form of a brand new addition to the 3 3/4" line. The Child (Nevarro) will come carded with the HasLab with an "end-of-season-1-pram". HasLab’s The Vintage Collection Razor Crest

Yesterday's launch of the second Vintage Collection-based HasLab, the Razor Crest, found great success in its launch. The signature ship of The Mandalorian, at the end of the first day, was crowd-funded at 68%. While the price of the vehicle is $150 cheaper than Jabba's Sail Barge, it should be noted that at the end of the first day, it only was backed at 11%. As can be seen below, the Sail Barge took almost the entire crowd-funding period to fully fund. The Razor Crest in contrast is on pace to fund in the next few days making the chance of unlocking the next two tiers very possible during the campaign. Hasbro PulseCon Press Release and Images

This morning Hasbro successfully began their first virtual convention, Hasbro PulseCon. The event began at 8 AM PST with fantasy gaming panels before transitioning to three consecutive Star Wars panels at 10:30 AM PST. The first panel hosted by members of Hasbro's design and marketing team as well a representation by LFL. During the panel, numerous Black Series and Vintage Collection figures were announced. Among them were a new wave of Archive figures, a new TVC reissue wave, a wave of Holiday Edition Black Series figures, few exclusive TBS and TVC figs, and a few non-exclusives. Darth Revan’s Black Series Force FX Elite Lightsaber

This week we were treated to a special delivery from Hasbro in the form of a very long box! Finn, my 10-year-old, delivered it to my office had no idea what was inside but upon discovering it was Darth Revan's Force FX Elite lightsaber he began jumping around and begging we open it immediately. Coincidentally, we had started play Knights of the Old Republic on the original Xbox the night before. Now his excitement for something he didn't even know existed was justified as this saber is awesome! For a family who can swim in Blade Builder Sabers from the last 5 years, this was an incredible upgrade to our saber arsenal. Disney’s Droid Factory Guide Updates

The lastest Disney Droid Factory Build-a-Droid, BB-BOO20, has now been added to our visual guide.  The figure is a simple repaint of their BB-8 buck which entered the line in June of 2017. This figure joins the previous 4 Halloween-themed droids by being released in August. With only one park currently open in the US, obtaining this figure has become more difficult with many folks resorting to the inflated prices on eBay. No word yet if this will become available on  ShowDisney.com or app. At the time of print, only The Rise of Skywalker set and the Sandcrawler playset are currently on the app. We'd highly recommend the Sandcrawler especially for fans of The Mandalorian. Cardboard Galaxy’s POTF2 Commemorative Display

We just couldn't let our last month's 25th Anniversary of The Power of the Force 2 celebration end without adding one more piece to the collection to commemorate the anniversary.
