Last night on Jimmy Kimmel's now third annual Star Wars special of Jimmy Kimmel Live, a very special gift was provided to the director and future shepherd of the Star Wars universe, Rian Johnson. The late-night host provided Johnson with his very own, one-of-a-kind action figure of the director. Hasbro created the figure exclusively for Johnson and used the Target exclusive Black Series Luke Skywalker (Jedi Master) with Ahch-To Island base. This figure joins the small handful of original figures Hasbro has created for individuals such as the Chewbacca Mom, toy designers and the late collector, Adam May, who won Target's become a Star Wars action figure contest. Hasbro has shared with us information about their latest new line set to reach store shelves in just a few weeks. Micro Force is described as "a line of squishable and easily collectible micro figures". If this sounds familiar or looks familiar its because this is a re-branding of Hasbro's Fighter Pods series from 2012. The previous incarnation included launchable pods that the figures could be placed into but this feature is now absent from this version.
