Fan First Friday Livestream Jan ’21 Press Release

Yesterday morning Hasbro Pulse held their "inaugural" Livestream event of 2021 on their official YouTube page. This Fan First Friday event revealed ten new items as well as showcasing three that were revealed yesterday on IGN. They also previewed a few figures in the works for both The Black Series and The Vintage Collection. We'll break down our thoughts about each of the reveals in a follow-up post. Hasbro Pulse Exclusives Press Release

This morning Hasbro through a handful of media partners announced three new sets that will be available for collectors in September. Screenrant announced a 6" Kenner-inspired addition to The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary Collection line, The Wampa. This set is the first of its kind as it features Black Series action figures on the packaging to truly mimic the vintage Kenner release. Typically Black Series figures either use the black line art of Gregory Titus or the vintage card back images. Archive Fan Vote Round 1 Results

Yesterday we tallied all of our votes concerning the next Black Series Archive Collection figure as submitted by fans and collectors over the previous week. Votes were cast via email, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and forwarded to Hasbro. A final vote for which figure should be added to next year's Archive Collection will take place this Friday, May 15th on Hasbro Pulse. TVC’s Boba Fett Update Now Available

Thanks to our good friend Jon Gray, we were alerted to Hasbro Pulse's listing of the latest PhotoReal update: Boba Fett! This figure which currently is only available at online retailers has been until today only available in The Vintage Collection refresh case which includes: 2x Stormtrooper, 2x Chewbacca, 2x R2-D2, and 2x Boba Fett. While this figure is listed as a reissue, it actually includes a new paint deco and has PhotoReal face printing tech and while he keeps his original numbering (VC09), the cardback has been updated for 2019. We have updated our The Vintage Collection Checklist and Visual Guide to include Boba and have adjusted the release dates for the Skiff 3-pack, Skiff vehicle and the Gammorean Guard.
