Hasbro PulseCon Press Release and Images

This morning Hasbro successfully began their first virtual convention, Hasbro PulseCon. The event began at 8 AM PST with fantasy gaming panels before transitioning to three consecutive Star Wars panels at 10:30 AM PST. The first panel hosted by members of Hasbro's design and marketing team as well a representation by LFL. During the panel, numerous Black Series and Vintage Collection figures were announced. Among them were a new wave of Archive figures, a new TVC reissue wave, a wave of Holiday Edition Black Series figures, few exclusive TBS and TVC figs, and a few non-exclusives. The Complete Black Series Action Figure Checklist

In 2013, Hasbro made the decision to create a collector focused scale of super-articulated 6" figures. This Black Series line of figures became very popular with collectors who were used to super-detailed and highly posable figures from The Vintage Collection 3 3/4" line. This line which has grown exponentially with each year was not the first time Hasbro attempted a 6" line. During the Power of the Jedi line, which followed the highly overproduced Episode I line of figures, Hasbro debuted the extremely short-lived "Mega" action figure line. 2019 – A Year in Review of Star Wars Action Figures

For Star Wars action figure collectors, 2019 will be a year that will stand out and be talked about for years to come. The final year of this decade has been an unusual one in the world of figure collecting. SDCC Coverage 2017

It is that time again for the super convention San Diego Comic-Con to take place. As always with the four-day con, it begins with Preview Night on proceeding Wednesday where companies like Hasbro offer a preview of some of the items they will be showcasing at the convention. Thursday will then feature the Hasbro Preview Breakfast for members of the press and then Friday will host Hasbro's Star Wars Brand Panel at 1pm-2pm PST. 40th Anniversary Hasbro Commercial

Last Friday, Hasbro debuted their latest Star Wars action figure commercial and it featured something truly special. In the stop-motion animated short, it featured not only toys from Hasbro's 40th Anniversary Collection 6" line but each one of the line's vintage Kenner counterparts. This is the first commercial to truly feature Hasbro's The Black Series 6" figure line and as well as the first to use Kenner figures since the mid-80's.
