Star Wars Marvel Comics Return!

Although today's San Diego Comic-Con announcement was expected it was still fantastic to finally hear!  Starting in January, Marvel Comics will once again publish new Star Wars comic books starting with Star Wars #1.  The on-going series takes place right after A New Hope, much like Dark Horse's current and final series of the same name does. Starting one month later will be their on-going series entitled Star Wars: Darth Vader taking place in the same time frame and showing the rise of The Dark Lord of Sith to his fierce-some self in Empire. Happy I Am Your Father’s Day

Its hard to believe that its been 7 years since Hasbro released their Wal*Mart exclusive Father's Day card/action figure set.  This release remains unique as it not only turned into it's own gift box but is the only holiday-themed set Hasbro has ever created outside of their handful of Christmas sets.  Released in 2007 as part of The 30th Anniversary Collection this set wasn't as largely produced as Wal*Mart exclusives typically are. Of the figures included, just one was just unique enough to give loose collectors motivation to purchase it.  The unfatherly Darth Vader figure was a straight repack of the Throne Room Duel release from 2003's Star Wars "Saga" line. When Sci-Fi influences Star Wars Toys
