EBay and online stores are always a good indicator that new product is coming and this week Star Wars Rebels found a presence at both. Multiple sites reported the first wave of Rebels vehicles appeared on eBay this week and some went for close to double the $25 MSR. Also up for pre-sale online now is the first wave of figures which consists of an impressive 12 different figures per case. Now only half of the figures are new as the other six are repacks from the Saga Legends and Mission Series line.
Andrew’s Toyz, who seems to have a connection at Hasbro as they tend to get images earlier than most, has these and the next two waves of vehicles up for pre-sale with a tentative release date of October.
And finally in Rebels news, Yodasnews.com provided us with our first look at Toys ‘R’ Us’ exclusive Mission Series: The Ghost set with the special Reveal the Rebels: Jedi Reveal feature. For anyone who has seen the extended series trailer for Star Wars Rebels or read the first paragraph from Star Wars: A New Dawn (which officially hit bookshelves this week) this wasn’t too much of a reveal as its been known that Obi-Wan Kenobi makes an appearance in the show. Still it is nice to know that we will be seeing him in plastic form in the near future.
With just under a month to go until the debut of the one-hour movie “Spark of the Rebellion” premieres, chances are we will continue to see more Rebels merch and reveals over the next month. Until next time,
