This past week the lastest Hasbro HasLab project, The Ghost, received two important updates. Firstly, the first tier of the project was unlocked and backers will now receive an exclusive carded Ezra Bridger figure. This brings The Ghost crew up to 2.5 as the HasLab will include a carded Hera, a carded Ezra and a Chopper dome built into the Phantom 2.
The second update was made during this week’s Hasbro Star Wars Brand Team Q&A. It was revealed that if the current HasLab reaches its third tier by the end of the campaign, which has just a week and a half to go, Hasbro will release Sabine and Chopper on mural cardbacks to complete the crew. Now these will be made available outside of the The Ghost and will not be included. We sad we were not able to participate in this Q&A session as we were traveling home from Europe but our very good friends at the Toy Anxiety Podcast kept our spirit alive during their first Star Wars Brand Team Q&A.
With just 11 days remaining for The Ghost, it may be a challenge to see all of the tiers get an unlocked. This campaign, while getting off to a fast start by funding in 5 days, has yet since then to see a daily growth percentage higher than 3%. While it is nice to see all of the tiers upfront, it may have slowed the overall progress of the campaign. We are hopeful that the end of the campaign will see a surge and that the ship will be featured heavily in Ahsoka next week leading folks to get new folks interested in the campaign.
As we have been out of the country for a few weeks, our HasLab tracking has been a bit behind but here is an up-to-date look at the data so far.
