This morning Lucasfilm launched their first official Mando Mondays with not only the debut of tons of new products based on The Mandolorian but staring many of the stars from the hit Disney+ series. Toy lines such as LEGO and Funko were represented by Hasbro stole the show with numerous releases. Each of the items previewed in the video went up for sale at 1 PM PST.
On this particular Monday, Target, Wal*Mart, Amazon, and Hasbro Pulse/Shop Disney all had exclusives. In a surprising move, Hasbro chose to not make their latest Retro Collection line exclusive to any one retailer. Most items were easily found online with the exception of Target’s exclusive item which is par for the course when it comes to their online presales.
Today’s reveals included three new versions of The Mandalorian: Retro Collection, The Vintage Collection, and The Black Series. Both of the latter two feature Beskar armor with a Mudhorn sigil. This would mean that The Vintage Collection is still missing a Beskar armor sans sigil and with a new Mando rumored to be coming next year, good money would bet we’ll be getting one in 2021.
The final highlight from the Livestream Event was the debut of the Razor Crest’s paint scheme. The HasLab crowdfunding vehicle has only been featured unpainted up until this point and while it has funded completely, it has had minimal growth in backers over the last two weeks. But today’s reveal, saw over 350 new backers added to the project and at the time of print, Mando’s ship is just about 500 backers away from unlocking the third tier.
