Happy Star Wars: The Force Awakens Day! Hasbro has provided us with the details surrounding their Star Wars action figure photo timeline that will be on display at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and will feature fan figure photography. Photo submission dates and details are as follows:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens lands on Digital HD on April 1st and Blu-ray April 15th, featuring tons of special features.  In celebration, Hasbro is launching the first #StarWars #HasbroToyPic Fan Figure Photo Series and calling on fans to show off their amazing collections and creativity by recreating scenes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens using Hasbro’s Star Wars figures and vehicles.

Beginning Tuesday, April 5th through Wednesday, May 4th (aka May the Fourth), all photos posted to social using #StarWars and #HasbroToyPic will be considered for inclusion in a Star Wars: The Force Awakens Figure Photo Timeline in the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic Con.  Credit will be given to all creators within the Timeline display.  For inspiration and more information, several background scenes provided by Hasbro including Jakku, Starkiller Base, and Takodana and additional #HasbroToyPic details can be found at Hasbro Pulse.

Now it appears as of this article Hasbro Pulse has yet to update their site with the information mentioned above but we’ll make sure to let you know when they do.

We’d like to thank our friends at Hasbro and Litzky for providing us with the upcoming Takodana Encounter 4-pack featuring the exclusive Maz Kanata figure. The figure is quite good. She comes with her own unique blaster and chest which includes a removable Luke Skywalker lightsaber hilt. Her glasses/goggles are a separate piece but are not removable nor hinged.  The three remaining figures are exact reissues of their carded versions.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens figure photos and remember you only have until May the Fourth. Now if you’ll excuse us, we have some photo scenes to create!

Until next time,

May the Figures be with you!
