We are pleased to announce that our Disney Droid Factory Build-a-Droid Guide is fully updated and complete.  You can now find every single Droid Factory released by Disney in our guide. To bring the list up-to-date, we have added last May’s Star Wars Day Droid as well as the latest Christmas Droid, updated the bio’s of the Rogue One Droids and provided a glimpse of what’s a possibility to come.

All different types of Astromech droids populate the Star Wars galaxy. Each droid is different and has their own unique personality and colors. Living on the small planet of Mustafar in the Outer Rim Territories, this little Astromech helps with the local mining operations. Join R5-M4 on his adventure throughout the galaxy.

Available on the now official Star Wars holiday of May the Fourth Be With You, this figure was available for a limited time in May and is based on the holiday’s official logo colors.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Set (October 2017)

All different types of Astromech droids populate the Star Wars galaxy. Each droid is different and has their own unique personality and colors. These four new Astromech figures are featured in the new film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

This set represents the second Astromech multipack Disney has created and the second direct film tie-in release as well. Of note within this set is a newly sculpted version of an R3 dome which can easily be seen by looking at the droids holoprojector eye (or lack thereof).  This also features the first droid in the Disney Droid Factory line to not have a name based on their ‘R’ model.

  • C2-B5 – This Imperial droid works within the vault of the Scarif Citadel.

  • R2-BHD – This silvery droid vetran of the Rebellion, goes by the name “Tooby” and is currently assigned to Gold Squadron’s Gold Leader. Additionally, the droid is named after UK droid builder Brad Oakley AKA “BigHappyDude”.

  • R3-M2 – The background of this droid of unusual eggshell color has yet to be revealed.

  • R5-SK1 – This droid, which appears to be the spitting image of the Jawa’s R5-D4, has yet to have a backstory.

R2-H16 (coming Fall 2016)

All different types of Astromech droids populate the Star Wars galaxy. Each droid is different and has their own unique personality and colors. This jovial Astromech is optimized to function and serve in remote, sub-zero environments.  Join R2-H16 on his adventure throughtout the galaxy.

This is the second Christmas-themed Astromech Disney has produced and similarally to his predecessor, the H16 in his name refers to “Holiday 2016”. This R2 comes with an exclusive accessory as his winter beanie is all new.
