An Off-Task Presentation: Live-Action Marvel Film & TV Chronology

We here at From4-LOMtoZuckuss.com have, for over the past four years, written and reported exclusively about Star Wars action figures. We love Star Wars figures like no other but we do have lots of room in our heart. Marvel's comics, movies and yes their action figures are near and dear to our hearts. So with that being said, we have our very first "Off-Task Presentation" featuring every single live-action Marvel movie and television property made to date. We started with this list as we intend to use it to track the Marvel action figure lines that accompanied many of these films and series. Hasbro’s Value 6″ Series Checklist

We've been getting a lot of questions lately concerning Hasbro's discount 6" figure line. The line which Hasbro.com has referred to as a "Value" series includes figures which are for the most part scaled down versions of Hasbro's 12" line of Hero figures. For a good look at how these figures represent their 12" counterpart, check out our Galaxy of Toys co-host's look at the most recent releases: This line has had limited release in the United States as it is intended for International and discount retailers. Selling for around $6-$8 a piece this line costs a mere fraction of Hasbro's other 6" line, The Black Series. This discounted price can be found in the fact that most of the weapons are permanently glued to the figure's hands [...]

In February we at Rancho Obi-Wan found out that we had been the victim of a major theft that surreptitiously took place over many months in late 2015 through 2016. There were more than 100 valuable items stolen, the majority of them vintage U.S. and foreign carded action figures, many of them rare and important pieces. Most have either been resold or professionally appraised for a total of more than $200,000. The theft came to light after Philip Wise, a good friend, major collector and owner of several Star Wars websites, posted [...]

More Kenner in Star Wars Rebels

Now that The Force Awakens hype has begun to simmer down just a bit after a month of destroying all-time movie records Lucasfilm has begun shifting their focus by releasing the trailer for the second half of Star Wars Rebels Season 2. And with this action-packed trailer comes a bunch of guest-stars from the Star Wars universe.  Joining Ahsoka and Rex, this season will feature characters from The Clone Wars such as Hera's father Cham Syndulla as well as a few Jedi Temple Guards (with one having a very Snoke-ish tone) followed by a Matt Lanter-voiced Anakin Skywalker via a Holocron. Returning from The Prequels will be Bail Organa and the undefeatable Darth Maul whom is now referred to as "Old Master". Thanks to Matt [...]
