Hasbro Press Photos from MCM London Comic Con

Coming hot off of the weekend's Comic Con Paris reveals, Hasbro gave preview of two additional figures coming in 2019. At the MCM London Comic Con panel, Hasbro showed off the upcoming Battle Droid figure for The Black Series and a Vintage Collection R2-D2. Hasbro's Star Wars Design Director Steve Evans has stated that 2019 would focus on the prequels and this reveal is inline with those comments. Press Photos from Comic Con Paris

Today at Comic Con Paris, Hasbro revealed their latest new Black Series 6" figure. Keeping with their promise that 2019 would feature more Prequel Trilogy characters, Padme' Amidala from Attack of the Clones will be joining the collection in Spring of next year. Also revealed was the press photo of the Chewbacca that will be coming to The Vintage Collection next Spring as well. This figure was previously seen listed on the back of a TVC just last month. Hasbro has provided us with official press photos of both releases.

Hasbro Star Wars NYCC Reveals Press Release

As 2018's New York Comic Con kicked off we were treated to an official press release and press images from our partners at Hasbro. Hasbro provided reveals for each of their current lines on shelves with the exception of their Solo 3 3/4" Force Link 2.0 line. We assume that line will be replaced with the upcoming Star Wars: Resistance line (which official press images and info can be found here.) Who Will be the Next Vintage Collection Figure Announced?

So far with the return of The Vintage Collection line, Hasbro has taken the same course of action they began with Wal*Mart’s exclusive Black Series 3 ¾” line which began in 2015. They are weaving in an equal number of reissued figures in order to keep new figure tooling costs down. So far to date, Hasbro has announced figures through next Summer in their The Vintage Collection line but they have not revealed every figure though. For a full list of these releases look here. In order to speculate which figures may soon be announced, we have done some comparison work between the 3 3/4" Black Series line and The Vintage Collection both past, present and future. SDCC Coverage 2018

It is that time again for the super convention San Diego Comic-Con to take place. As always with the four-day con, it begins with Preview Night on proceeding Wednesday where companies like Hasbro offer a preview of some of the items they will be showcasing at the convention.
