Retro Collection Special Bounty Hunters 2-Pack Press Release

This morning Amazon surprised vintage and modern collectors by dropping a "new expression" to the Retro Collection line. The Bounty Hunters 2-Pack includes modern reissues of two famous Kenner figures from The Empire Strikes Back. Dengar and IG-88 are coming to the retro line later this year in this two-pack. The set is exclusive to Amazon and is currently up for preorder here. Bring Home the Bounty – Bonus Bounty #7

Yesterday, Hasbro provided exclusive Star Wars action figure reveals to two different websites: CNET and IGN. CNET was given the latest Black Series figure to showcase which is loosely based on the comic book version of Black Krrsantan. This figure is a repaint of a Chewbacca with a new bandolier. This figure was met by frustration by collectors online hoping to get a screen-accurate version of the character. Hasbro's stance behind Fan Channel (aka e-tailer) exclusive figures such as this are that they are bonus figures in the line and would not normally exist.  Hope by fans that a more accurate figure will be created but with Hasbro's currently MO it will be an exclusive deluxe figure with a lengthy ship date. Fan First Wednesday – February ’22

This morning Hasbro Pulse treated fans and collectors to their first Star Wars YouTube Livestream of the year. While the Livestream only officially revealed seven new items, the final reveal of the bunch stole the show! Each item shown today will go up for pre-order tomorrow February 10th, 2022 in addition, the Omega wave of Black Series figures shown at the last PulseCon and the TVC Yoda. Bring Home the Bounty – TVC & TBS Product Reveals Press Release

Today Hasbro provided us with the latest preorders which go live tomorrow, February 8th. The two new items include one Vintage Collection figure and one Black Series. Both figures are from The Mandalorian and the Vintage Collection figure revealed is a Din Djarin in the Imperial disguise he wore on Morak during Season 2. The second figure announced today is the highly desired Darktrooper. This droid, which has been highly desired since its debut, will be released as a deluxe figure at a higher price point due to the figure's size. Speaking of prices, as rumored a few weeks ago, these figures include a slightly higher retail price than their equivalents from 2021. TVC Boba Fett (Morak) Press Release & Pricing Discussion

Breaking away from the typical pattern of Tuesday announcement/Wednesday preorder, Starwars.com announced their "bonus" Bring Home the Bounty a day early this week. Bring Home the Bounty Unboxing

Last week Hasbro was gracious enough to provide us with a #BringHomeTheBounty box which we unboxed live on our Instagram! The box included some of the latest Star Wars merchandise that has become available over these past Fall and Winter months. Of note, inside the box was the muddy Mandolorian Arvala-7 deluxe figure which has yet to go up for pre-order nor been found in stores. SWTVC’s March Madness 2022

Happy New Year! Today, our friends over at SWTVC on Instagram have begun soliciting submissions for this year's TVC March Madness fan poll! Just like last year, they are asking for your top 25 most-wanted action figures in The Vintage Collection. All fan lists will be tallied for a March Madness-style poll to narrow down which figures fans and collectors most desire to be released in 3 3/4" within The Vintage Collection.
