What makes this podcast unique is that Archer was a toy designer for over twenty years with Kenner and then Hasbro. A few weeks ago we had the distinct pleasure of lending our thoughts to Geek. Dad. Life's latest debate on who the best toy maker of the 90's was. Host Jay Glatfelter took on Toy Anxiety's Ryan Doell with moderation from co-host John and Yes Have Some's Craig Goldberg in a no-holds-barred debate between Playmates and Toy Biz. Fan Celebration 2022 Press Release

Exclusive Reveal: Black Series 13th Battalion Trooper

We are delighted to share with fans and collectors an exclusive reveal of the next Gaming Greats Black Series figure! The 13th Battalion Trooper from Jedi: Fallen Order will be joining the 6" line next Spring. This figure will be available for pre-order this St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, at 1 PM EST. Washington State Toy Show – March ’22

The first big toy event of the year in the Pacific Northwest kicks off this weekend with the Washington State Toy Show! If you have yet to attend this show, which takes place in the old South Hill Puyallup Toys 'R' Us building, it has quickly become the premier show in the region. This two-day show is set to offer attendees something new this time around as each day 70% of the vendors will be different meaning more toys for everyone! Come have FUN this weekend!!!! Adam Savage’s One Day Builds: Painting The Razor Crest

Former ILM Special Effects Designer, Adam Savage both reviews and performs one of his famous "one day builds" on repainting the recently shipped HasLab Razor Crest from Hasbro. Savage brings both his knowledge of model design and action figure toys to this project. This custom project is of course not for the lighthearted as this Hasbro Pulse exclusive ship was only available for purchase during a two-month period in 2020 for $350. Retro Collection Special Bounty Hunters 2-Pack Press Release

This morning Amazon surprised vintage and modern collectors by dropping a "new expression" to the Retro Collection line. The Bounty Hunters 2-Pack includes modern reissues of two famous Kenner figures from The Empire Strikes Back. Dengar and IG-88 are coming to the retro line later this year in this two-pack. The set is exclusive to Amazon and is currently up for preorder here. Bring Home the Bounty – Bonus Bounty #7

Yesterday, Hasbro provided exclusive Star Wars action figure reveals to two different websites: CNET and IGN. CNET was given the latest Black Series figure to showcase which is loosely based on the comic book version of Black Krrsantan. This figure is a repaint of a Chewbacca with a new bandolier. This figure was met by frustration by collectors online hoping to get a screen-accurate version of the character. Hasbro's stance behind Fan Channel (aka e-tailer) exclusive figures such as this are that they are bonus figures in the line and would not normally exist.  Hope by fans that a more accurate figure will be created but with Hasbro's currently MO it will be an exclusive deluxe figure with a lengthy ship date.
