Hasbro’s Solo Press Release

Today Hasbro provided us with a pretty sweet Valentine's gift in the form of an official press release for their Solo: A Star Wars Story toy lines. First Looks: New Solo Toys

Today various media outlets across the web debuted the first official looks at some of the toy that will accompany this May's release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. We expect to get better looks at these figures and more this weekend during New York's Toy Fair 2018. Entertainment Weekly The Millennium Falcon No Han Solo movie toy line could exist without his trusty steed and Hasbro brings us yet another new version to collect. Now this version was a no-brainier after the official trailer and posters dropped last week. Tracking THE LAST JEDI – Update

We have updated our Tracking THE LAST JEDI checklist to include the now Entertainment Earth exclusives as well as the items that are most likely going to be moved to the Solo: A Star Wars Story figure line. While it is sad to think we are done with The Last Jedi product, it only makes sense with Solo being just 3 months away. The avalanche began with the 45 second (and $7.5 million) Solo: A Star Wars Story teaser. This was followed up the next day with a longer teaser trailer on Good Morning America. Solo’s Super Bowl Teaser

Lucasfilm finally broke their moratorium on the promotion of Solo: A Star Wars Story. The 45-second teaser, which aired during the second commercial break in the US, presumably costs Disney $7.5 million dollars as Sports Illustrated has reported that NBC Sports charged $5 million per 30-second spots during Super Bowl LII. This teaser is exciting and nostalgic and we are now counting the hours until the full trailer debuts tomorrow during Good Morning America. This seems to be the weekend for Solo as a handful of leaked images appeared online this morning from the final day of the Nuremberg Toy Fair. As the first month of 2018 comes to a close, we come just one more month closer to the release of another Star Wars film.
