New Rogue One Disney Park Exclusive Set

The Disney Parks Blog has announced a multipack of new Droid Factory droids based on the upcoming Rogue One film.  This set mirrors The Force Awakens set which was released last year in September as well.  This set consists of four new droids; C2-B5, R2-BHD, R3-M2 and R5-SK1 and only one so far will also be released in the Hasbro 3 3/4" line.  C2-B5 will be included in the upcoming Rapid Fire AT-ACT vehicle.  This multipack is set for release on Force Friday and if like last year's set will be gone from the parks before the movie actually arrives in theaters on December 16th, 2016. STAR WARS STUDIOFX App Details

Hasbro has passed on to us some additional information about their Hasbro Star Wars StudioFX app which will be compatible with the Rogue One toy line set to be released later this month.  This is in addition to the write up that Mashable has done with their sneak peek with the app.  Interesting to note is that there will be 30-50 unique codes included within the toy line and they will be inserted at random.  Now while the details are still limited to the codes included, the collector in us is curious if they will be universal much like The Force Unleashed video game codes of the past or will each be their own individual code.  If the former, then you can look forward to us posting a [...]

  Last week we received word from our friends over at Astromech Collection that the Disney Park's latest entry in their exclusive Droid Factory series has been released.  R2-BOO, obviously named and colored as a nod to Halloween, was found in Walt Disney World.  Today, thanks to reader Brian Ulrich, who reported the finding last week, let us know that BOO could be found on the Disney Park's App for $12.99 and free shipping through today.  Good luck on getting yours and look for this pirate droid to be added to our Disney's Droid Factory Build-a-Droid Guide soon.
