Emerald City Comic Con Postponed

Each year we work hard to cover Emerald City Comic Con by releasing our annual Guide to everything Stars Wars at the show and just announced this morning it was announced that it has been postponed due to concerns over the spread of the coronavirus which is valid due to Seattle being the US's ground zero for the illness. We will cover the convention, per usual, this Summer when it is expected to return. So it appears we can already shift our attention to the Washington State Summer Con which is coming to the Washington State Fair Grounds on the first weekend of Summer. ECCC 2019 Wrap Up Coverage

With ECCC now a week behind us, we've finally had time to properly process this year's experience. As always, we view conventions through mostly Star Wars-tinted glasses and this year was a doozy. We, of course, have already indicated the massive amount of Star Wars opportunities at this year's show in our annual Guide to Star Wars at Emerald City Comic Con. What we forgot to mention was the incredible collaboration by the many costuming groups in the Seattle area. Star Wars: The Ultimate Experience was put on as a fundraiser for Seattle Children's Hospital and a great experience indeed for fans of any part of the Saga! ECCC Panel – Star Wars Toys: Did They Really Make That!

This weekend at Emerald City Comicon, Galaxy of Toys co-hosts and Star Wars action figure completest, Jake Stevens and Ryan Beise hosted a panel on some of the obscure Star Wars action figures made by Kenner and Hasbro over the past 40 years. Join Ryan Beise and Jake Stevens, both hosts of local Star Wars collecting podcasts and experts on the Hasbro line of Star Wars figures as they go through some of the strange, unique, and obscure Star Wars toys that Hasbro has made of the years.
