Your Resource for all things The Last Jedi Action Figure Related
Welcome to Tracking THE LAST JEDI, your place for hunting down all the information, checklists and reveals pertaining to the upcoming Star Wars film, The Last Jedi!
On September 1st, 2017, Hasbro and Disney will be holding their second official Force Friday in celebration of the toy lines that will accompany the release of the Star Wars saga’s eighth episode, The Last Jedi.
On Force Friday II, fans and collectors will be able to pick-up for the first time, action figures and collectibles from the movie set to be released on December 15th, 2017.
Hasbro has once again created a line of 3 ¾” action figures that feature 5 points of articulation (5POA) for its main support of this film. This is in-line with the previous two Disney-helmed Star Wars films and with the direction of the 3 ¾” line since 2013. Starwars.com announced the packaging design for Episode VIII on February 16th, 2017.
The packaging for The Last Jedi line also displays a few echoes from the past. Akin to the second film in the previous trilogy, The Last Jedi’s name is not listed on the packaging just as Attack of the Clones was omitted from its movie toy line. Also, the red look and style of the packaging are very reminiscent of Hasbro’s packaging refresh for its The Clone Wars line from 2009.
When it comes to pack-ins and added play value for The Last Jedi line, Hasbro has once more looked to its past by including a feature which makes figures talk, similarly to the CommTech chips concept from 1999’s The Phantom Menace toy line. Force Link allows users to wear a device on their wrist which when in proximity to a figure or vehicle will allow the wearer to hear unique sounds and dialogue from the toy.
The following checklist is what we know so far and will be updated as new reveals and information are provided to us.
