This past weekend we were delighted to receive another special delivery for #MayTheFourth. Hasbro was kind enough to send us the full set of Target’s upcoming exclusive Retro Collection figure set. The figures came packaged in a promo box which features images from the original vintage Action Display Stand from Kenner.
After an early morning run to Free Comic Book Day to pick up the two Star Wars offerings from Marvel and IDW we returned home to open the gift set. We posted a quick review here:
As you can see from the video, we were lucky enough to find a second set at Target stores but these figures should be in supply this Sunday (Mother’s Day) at your local store. Here you can see the entire Retro Collection set which as of right now is complete until the SDCC Darth Vader Prototype figure drops this July.
Entertainment Weekly joined in on the #MayTheFourth fun with the Retro Collection by sharing the images from some of Instagrams top figure photographers including our friend Jason Yang AKA @Workmoreorless.
In addition, this Sunday the Target exclusive The Vintage Collection Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise and The Black Series Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise should be available as well.
After a day of Star Wars comic book reading and and figure opening joined friends to #CelebrateTheSaga and the unfortunate passing of legend.
