During Hasbro’s Star Wars: 40 Years of Play panel today at the first annual HASCON convention, a number of reveals and confirmations took place.  During the panel hosted by Hasbro’s Brand Team members including Steve Evans and Kenner legend Mark Bourdeaux, the next wave of The Last Jedi 3 3/4″ figures were confirmed. A big thanks to TOY RUN listener Scott Steiner for all the great images seen here from HASCON!

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi (A New Hope)
  • Yoda (Attack of the Clones)
  • DJ (Canto Bight)
  • General Leia Organa
  • Luke Skywalker (Jedi Exile)
  • R2-D2 (Attack of the Clones)
  • Rey (Island Journey)

The names of these figures surfaced last week as pre-orders went up with a December release date. The only figure missing from the list that was not shown at the panel was a FORCE LINK Jyn Erso.

Other figures making their in-person debut included Princess Leia in Hoth Gear, the Luke and Wampa set and The Emperor in all his lightning glory.

(Sidenote/Random Thought – If DJ is not Ezra from Rebels, why bother giving him identical scratches on his left cheek? And now before you tell us DJ has them on his right, take a look at the image on the right and notice what hand his ring is on. Hasbro reversed the image. Hmmmmmm….)

An upcoming 2-pack for the Episode VIII line was shown and is technically a 3-pack.

  • Rose (First Order Disguise) & BB-8 vs. BB-9E

The next big announcement came when the panel showed off the first wave of The Vintage Collection’s return. The line-up is very close to what was shown at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this Summer.

  • Rey (Jakku)
  • Kylo Ren
  • First Order Stormtrooper
  • Jyn Erso
  • Rebel Soldier (Hoth)
  • Supreme Leader Snoke

Our first ‘New’ vintage collection figure…. snnnnnnnnnoooooooookkkke

A post shared by Steve Evans (@mrstevie18) on

The addition of Snoke to the line is a welcome one as in super-articulated form he will now complement his throne on the new BB-8 Mega-Playset. Jyn Erso is a new reveal as well, as she appears to have taken Dr. Aphra’s spot.

Hasbro’s booth was also home to some new reveals, as they had on display the many parts and pieces what will be included with the Imperial Hoover Tank and Driver.

And finally, no Hasbro Star Wars panel these days would be complete without a few Black Series reveals. Snoke in 6″ form, once again stole the show but was not the only new figure shown today. Hasbro’s booth showed off both new looks at figures in their packaging as well as new figures like Finn’s new friend Rose.

  • #54 Supreme Leader Snoke
  • #55 Resistance Tech Rose
  • #56 Jaina Solo (Fan’s Choice)

And finally, Hasbro had on display their convention exclusive Clone Captain Rex which like previous exclusives includes unique packaging and extra accessories.

Lots of great some coming our way and if anymore reveals drop this weekend, we’ll update them here.

But until then,
May the Figures be with you!
