Added 12″ Articulation

It appears that Hasbro has begun to increase the points of articulation in their 12" line of figures.  Previously, the line has featured only 4-6 points but the lastest release of The Fifth Brother Inquisitor has added ball-joints to the arms to potentially compete with the other 12" lines from Mattel which feature similarly priced figures but with more articulation.  Time will tell if this will bleed over into the 3 3/4" line. Until next time, May the Figures be with you!

New 12″ Additions & 3PO Red Arm Day

We have updated Target's Exclusive 12" 3-pack featuring droids from The Force Awakens to our 12" Action Figure Hero Series Checklist page. This set which was made available a few days prior to last week's release of Episode VII on Blu-ray/DVD is fantastic due solely to Goldenrod. C-3PO has not only one of the best sculpts for a Hasbro 12" figure to date but a terrific paint job that could only be outdone with vac-metalizing. Speaking of 3PO, today is long-delayed day where we find out exactly why he has a red arm in TFA in Marvel Comic's Star Wars Special: C-3PO (Journey to The Force Awakens) #1. This issue will ship with a 3PO Action Figure Variant cover and an exclusive version from Wonderland [...]

New Collecting Resource Checklist – Large Scale Action Figures

Courtsey of Jason Luttrull In 1978, Kenner not only released one of the most impactful toy lines of the century with their 3 3/4" line of action figures, but also released a small line of Large Scale Action Figures which appealed to the collectors of yesteryear who grew up collecting 12" GI Joe figures. The Star Wars line featured 11 characters with the Droids both showing up as JC Penney exclusives in '78 before being released everywhere in '79.  Most international affiliates of Kenner who created product typically released identical toys with the exception of Lily Ledy.  Not only did they release all new sculpts of each character but they also offered an Artoo that was simply an enlargement of the original 3 3/4" Artoo and [...]

Welcome 12″ Figures to the Site

We are happy to announce the addition of the modern line of 12" action figures to the site! We're working on adding the vintage and early Hasbro Collector Series lines as well to the site as well as the 6" lines (yes we said lines). We are even attempting to collect more information about the 2" line of figures from Episode I which we so highly covet. But to get us started on our non-3 3/4" figure coverage, we are starting with the understandably least popular line of 12" action figures (even though we dig them) the Hero Series assortment. From4-LOMtoZuckuss.com Presents: Star Wars 12” Action Figure "Hero Series" Checklist At about the same time that Disney began reducing the articulation of their 3 3/4" line of action [...]
