A few weeks ago we predicted that the next in the string of Original Trilogy characters to make an appearance on Star Wars Rebels would be Princess Leia. Well this week it was revealed that the next guest star role will fall to none other than Grand Moff Tarkin.
The Imperial Governor is enjoying a bit of a renaissance as he is making his animated debut just a few months after the release of his self-titled novel. Now just like Obi-Wan, Tarkin is not voiced by his original actor as Peter Cushing passed away in 1994. Although we are quite excited to see Stephen Stanton return to the character he perfected in The Clone Wars, when Tarkin was just a Captain. The Grand Moff’s trip to Lothal will mark the eigith character to show up from the Original Trilogy.
