Last week’s reveal of Toys ‘R’ Us’ upcoming Star Wars Rebels Mission Series exclusive The Ghost, featuring a holographic Obi-Wan Kenobi, prompted us to revisit Dan Curto’s leaked Rebels photo from earlier this year. Now with the knowledge gained from Hasbro’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation, we are fairly certain we can speculate about the numbering of and wave assortment of the upcoming Rebels figures. We know from online pre-sales that the first case available will include 12 different figures. The first six being from the new animated series with the rest pulling from the previously released Saga Legends figures. We have ‘X’d’ out the figures that have been officially announced from Hasbro and color-coded them to match the photo’s wave color-code.

The questions that remain and that have yet to be answered are:
- Will the Holographic Obi-Wan be repainted for a carded release?
- Will all 11 figures ship in Wave 2?
- And if so why 11 and not 12 like the first wave?
- Will Hasbro announce the remaining figures at next month’s New York Toy Fair or will we have to wait until February’s New York Toy Fair?
- Will this be the last time we will be able to purchase figures from The Prequel Trilogy?
- Why was Hera’s set shown so early if its not due for release until February?
Time will of course answer all of these questions but speculating is part of the hobby and fun. In other speculative news, yesterday’s Starwars.com Originals video “From Concept to Collectibles – Hasbro Black Series: Speeder Bike” which featured Hasbro designers also included a few teases about “E7” toys.
Yakface.com made the discovery of the multiple files on Bill Rowley’s desktop. With a non-spoiler file name of “SW E7 Secondary Hero Battler” these could be referring to an action figure from the film already in production. But our money would be on it being from a possible new line of toys all together. Hasbro has an affinity for new concepts which have game and/or action features and with a name like ‘Battler’ its likely to not be action figure related.
We like most fans can’t wait to learn and see Hasbro’s plans for next December 2015’s sequel film. Until then,
