We just couldn’t let our last month’s 25th Anniversary of The Power of the Force 2 celebration end without adding one more piece to the collection to commemorate the anniversary. Our friends over at Cardboard Galaxy have created a great piece that pays tribute to the beginning of the modern line. The POTF2 Commemorative Display Stand for Hasbro Kenner Star Wars 3.75 Figures is a well-constructed diorama and display stand that can be set-up in one of two ways. This “cardboard” display can be arranged on your shelf both with or without the classic “25 Years” header. The background of the display features the designs and space battle scene that was originally featured on the Froot Loops box that included the mailaway offer for Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise.

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the return of Star Wars action figures with this “POTF2 Commemorative Display Stand” from Cardboard Galaxy!

Based off the 1995 artwork created to advertise the Han Solo Stormtrooper mail-away figure, this display stand measures 16″ wide by 5″ tall by 5.5″ deep. It includes a removable header based off the 1995 POTF2 packaging that adds an additional 3.5″ to make the complete display 9″ tall.

The display is intended to showcase the original ten figures released as the first wave of “new” Star Wars figures in 1995. But hey, you can do whatever you want with it when you buy it! (Sorry, the figures and accessories in the pictures are for demonstration only and are not included in the sale.)

The display comes flatpacked, and assembles easily with velcro tabs on the sides to keep the backdrop supported. The header insert uses slots and tabs to connect to the display itself. This product run is something of a test, and as such I will be printing and assembling them upon purchase. After payment is made, please allow a week for shipping. And did I mention FREE SHIPPING in the US? That’s right!!!

Thanks again to Cardboard Galaxy for the early access on this piece and make sure to follow them on Facebook for all of their latest concepts and creations.  And don’t forget to head quickly to their eBay page as only 25 of these Commemorative Displays were put up for sale initially.

Good luck and as always,

May the Figures be with you!
