Insider has an inside look at “How Hasbro Makes Action Figures Look Just Like Movie Stars.” This gives us a look at how the artists create the new lifelike face sculpts for Hasbro’s Marvel Legends and Star Wars: The Black Series lines.
It is interesting that they choose to reference a 1995 Power of the Force figure for their comparison figure. That figure is almost 25 years old! They also do not mention in the video that this process is also used in The Vintage Collection 3 3/4″ line but nonetheless, it is a fascinating look at who Hasbro has achieved the Photo Real process.
