The great thing about Star Wars now being over 4 decades old; there seems to be an unending amount of Star Wars cameos and lore to still discover!  This week we have yet another round of Kenner toy appearances in movies and television shows.  Each one of these provided and pointed out by the great community that is Star Wars collecting community and we have added them to our Lights! Camera! Action (Figures)! Database!

Mork and Mindy – Season 1 “Mork’s First Christmas” (1978)

Not only does Mork get a classic Simon game he also opens a Kenner Radio Controlled R2-D2!

Big thanks to Jason Langendorfer for the images!

Next up, courtesy of the eagle-eyed Dan Geister, we have a look at a lesser known 80’s movie which features a handful of toy cameos.

The Buddy System (1984)

Here we see a young Will Wheaton reading under a bookshelf full of He-Man figures, a Yoda puppet and a Snowspeeder and R5-D4 among other toys.

The next cameo features our favorite smuggler in a precarious situation.

Used Cars (1980)

The Kurt Russell film features a courtroom scene where Han Solo is shown on a mini-gallows.

Thanks to Micheal French from RetroBlasting for the heads-up on this dark appearance.

As odd as this cameo is, it would not be the only time appears!

“I Can’t Drive 55” Sammy Hagar (1984)

Four years after Used Cars, the prop was used in Hagar’s music video!

Thanks to Tom Berges from for this rockin’ appearance!

That’s it for this update but we are always looking for help in hunting down new cameos that have remained hidden all of these years.  So if you know of any appearances not listed in the database or stumble upon them in the future make sure to let us know by email or on socials and we’ll add it the list.

Until then,

May the Figures be with you!
