NY_2017

Happy New Year to you all!  We here at From4-LOMtoZuckuss.com have had a great year when it comes to not only Star Wars figure collecting but with Star Wars in general.  With our friends over at Jedibusiness.com, we successfully launched the weekly podcast TOY RUN: The Star Wars Action Figure Cast where we have interviewed many prominent members of the collecting community including our friends Gus Lopez, Steve Sansweet, Bill McBride, Tom Berges as well as Hasbro’s Design Director Steve Evans.  We appeared on the Collectors Galaxy podcast, on another episode of  Retroblasting’s Star Wars Follies and co-hosted an episode of Star Wars Action News.  We attended Star Wars nights at both the Tacoma Rainiers and Seattle Mariners, we hosted a panel on Star Wars action figures at Emerald City Comic-Con with our Galaxy of Toys Podcast co-host Ryan Beise. We provided a few unboxings of new Hasbro product courtesy of Hasbro as well as an early #gorogue video with Chris Pirillo. We hosted a #ForceFriday event and attended Seattle’s hottest ticket to see Rogue One at the sold-out first screening at Pacific Science Center’s impressive laser-projected IMAX 3-D theater. And finally, covered ever major convention this year and have provided 100’s of updates to our multiple databases and figure guides.

Of course, there were some lowlights from the year as well as we lost Jocasta Nu, Red Leader, Imp Officier Pol Treidum, the voice of Ackbar and Bib Fortuna, R2-D2 and most tragically her highness, Princess Leia.

We are hopeful for 2017 as there is lots of Star Wars fun to be had: the reconnecting with many of our friends and fellow collectors at Star Wars Celebration Orlando, the second half Rebels Season 3, podcasting with Criz Bee and the Galaxy of Toys crew, the numerous Hasbro reveals at Toy Fair, Celebration, SDCC, NYCC, and of course seeing where the Saga takes us in the next episodic installment of the films that is Star Wars Episode VIII!

Look for our annual Best of 2016 Action Figure Review coming soon from Galaxy of Toys with Matt Fox from This Week In Star Wars as well as full little video from Star Geek we helped out with as well.  TOY RUN will return next week as well!

We wish you all a safe New Year’s and may Hope fill you in 2017 and as always,

May the Figures be with you!

“When you care to send the very best – you say it with Star Wars action figures!” For more Holiday Greetings!
