Yesterday, Hasbro provided exclusive Star Wars action figure reveals to two different websites: CNET and IGN. CNET was given the latest Black Series figure to showcase which is loosely based on the comic book version of Black Krrsantan. This figure is a repaint of a Chewbacca with a new bandolier. This figure was met by frustration by collectors online hoping to get a screen-accurate version of the character. Hasbro’s stance behind Fan Channel (aka e-tailer) exclusive figures such as this are that they are bonus figures in the line and would not normally exist. Hope by fans that a more accurate figure will be created but with Hasbro’s currently MO it will be an exclusive deluxe figure with a lengthy ship date.
IGN showcased three new Vintage Collection figures from The Mandalorian. These are three welcomed characters from Season 2 of the hit series and help to add to the show’s growing roster of figures. Especially with the HasLab Razor Crest showing up on doorsteps around the country, these figures are highly anticipated.
UPDATE: All four figures went up for pre-sell and the only figure to sell out instantly is Axe Woves. Some conjecture it is because the figure has no limits attached unlike the other two figures while others believe it has yet to be posted. Time will tell.
