With Star Wars Celebration just a few weeks behind us, fans of the Star Wars Saga who live in the Pacific Northwest are in for a treat as Washington State Summer Con 2022 kicks off this week! And just as years in the past, this con is filled with tons of Star Wars celebrities and content! Also, our very own Jake Stevens will be hosting many of the Star Wars-related panels throughout the weekend!

Celebrity Appearances
This year the Sith will rule as both Ian MacDiarmid and Ray Park with be appearing for autographs and photo ops togethers!
In addition, Black Krrsantan from The Book of Boba Fett, Aunt Beru from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Aalya Secura from the Prequels and Hondo Ohnaka from The Clone Wars & Rebels will be rounding out the celebrity appearances!
Star Wars Creators
Summer Con 2022 is also set to feature some prominent Star Wars artists and creators!
Grand Admiral Thrawn’s creator and prolific Star Wars author Timothy Zahn will be returning this year to Summer Con 2022!
Dark Horse Comic’s Star Wars author Ron Marz will appear as well!
Star Wars comic book artist Marc Laming will attend and will be bringing 100 copies an his exclusive show print!
Ken Lashley, who many might not know, was one of the artists to work on the card art for Hasbro’s Star Wars Unleashed line will be ready to sign your figures this weekend!

What would Summer Con be without getting to hear from our special guests and possibly ask them questions! This year, the following panels will be taking place:
Inside the Empire (Friday at 6:30, hosted by Jake Stevens)
A special Ian McDiarmid VIP-only event to kick off the first day of Summer Con! Note: Attendees must have an Ian McDiarmid VIP badge to attend.
The Legendary Voice Trio (Saturday at 1pm)
Join Skeletor (Alan Oppenheimer), Goofy (Bill Farmer) and Winnie Pooh (Jim Cummings) as these three voice actor giants recant some of the amazing stories associated with their decades of performing some of the most beloved characters from Disney, Star Wars, He-Man and the cartoons of our youths!
Palpatine’s Teachings (Saturday at 5pm, hosted by Jake Stevens)
Ian McDiarmid has embodied the face of pure Sith evil for nearly 40 years. Come listen to the stories of being a cornerstone of the Star Wars franchise as well as memories from his time on stage and screen!
Comic Creators Spotlight (Saturday at 5pm)
When it comes to comic books, names like Ron Lim and Ron Marz are instantly associated with some of the biggest works out there! From Star Wars to Batman, from DC to Marvel, from crossover events to Archie! There is little these creators haven’t done and this panel to learn all about them!

Summer Con continues our tradition of bringing Star Wars actors to the Pacific Northwest! Join Carey Jones (The Book of Boba Fett) and Bonnie Piesse (Obi-Wan Kenobi) for an hour of stories about acting in their current Disney+ series!
