When it comes to celebrating Star Wars, there is no other event that can outdo the epic nature of Star Wars Celebrations. Celebrating their 20th Anniversary, from April 11th to April 15th, Lucasfilm and Disney brought in the biggest names from the Saga in addition to the 100’s of exhibitors, creators, vendors, fan groups, collectors and influences to share in the fun. Here we will chronicle our adventures each and every day of the mega-convention celebrating that galaxy far, far away.

Day Two – Hasbro Panel

On the second day of the convention while fans everywhere were riding high on the debut of The Rise of Skywalker teaser, Hasbro held their Star Wars panel. There were some great packaging reveals  and the announcements for a series of exclusives were also made.

New product announced included:

The Black Series

  • Galaxy’s Edge Exclusive: The First Order
  • Galaxy’s Edge Exclusive: Smuggler’s Run
  • Galaxy’s Edge Exclusive: Droid Depot
  • SDCC Exclusive: 1979 Kenner Boba Fett
  • Aamzon Exclusive: Emperor Palpatine
  • Luke Skywalker’s Rebel Helmet

The Vintage Collection

  • SDCC Exclusive: Special Action Figure Set: Luke Skywalker – Jedi Destiny Set
  • SDCC Exclusive: Retro Collection: Prototype Darth Vader

The packaging was revealed for each of the exclusives listed above as well as the next few waves of Black Series figures, The second wave of Archive figures, The Vintage Collection Skiff and Skiff Guard 3-pack and LFL artwork for The Rise of Skywalker.

Absent from the panel was any talk about any future Star Wars: Resistance, Episode IX or Galaxy of Adventures figures or toys.

We were able to capture the audio from the panel but admittedly it is not the best quality as we were a few rows back in a very large room. The lines were massive for the Hasbro panel and with the Celebration App being wonky during the first half of the convention, some folks were able to receive priority seating for the show and some were not.

As you listen to the panel you can follow along with the picture gallery below. We will link to the official press photos once they are posted.
