This past Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, we were once again invited to speak with the Hasbro Brand Team for a short interview. A big thanks to action figure photographer extraordinaire Jason Yang (@workmoreorless on Instagram), for being our SDCC correspondent and thanks to Steve Evans, Hasbro’s Star Wars Design Director, for taking the time to chat with us! SDCC Coverage 2017

It is that time again for the super convention San Diego Comic-Con to take place. As always with the four-day con, it begins with Preview Night on proceeding Wednesday where companies like Hasbro offer a preview of some of the items they will be showcasing at the convention. Thursday will then feature the Hasbro Preview Breakfast for members of the press and then Friday will host Hasbro's Star Wars Brand Panel at 1pm-2pm PST. With this week's debut of the animated micro-series Star Wars Forces of Destiny, we released our visual guide dedicated to the line of Adventure Figures that is going to be released to accompany this new in-canon series. Forces of Destiny Adventure Figures Press Release

In what appears to be a direct reaction to the "Where's Rey?" controversy of 2015, Disney and Lucasfilm have teamed with Hasbro to create a line of 11" "adventure" figures to accompany a new animated series of shorts which will debut this Summer. The figures in this line appear to include much more than the 5POA (points of articulation) currently found in Hasbro's 12" line of figures and truly does what no other Star Wars action figure line has ever done before by making the male figures the minority.
