Thanks to the Disney Parks Blog, we now know a new 3 3/4″ Disney Parks Exclusive Build-a-Droid playset will be released with the debut of the new attraction, Rise of the Resistance. The set appears to include a black and blue R5 droid and a vehicle that is part of the ride. Previews for the addition to Galaxy’s Edge is undergoing previews right now and will open tomorrow in Florida and in Anaheim in mid-January.
We are excited about this new set and plan on adding it (along with the last two releases) to our Build-a-Droid guide this holiday season!
The following is a brief description of the collectible:
Guests can purchase a collectible toy inspired by the attraction vehicle. The item will be available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Dec. 5 and at Disneyland park on Jan. 17.
Fingers crossed that this set will show up on the Shop Disney app like most of the sets have in the past.
