This week I had the great pleasure of viewing Chris Moorehead’s home action figure display. He has just in the past few years begun creating a displayed collection despite collecting as a child and beginning anew with the modern line around 2005. He, like many collectors born in the 70’s and early 80’s, only collects Original Trilogy figures and I had the privilege of being only the second person to view his newly organized collection.  Chris has a great and purposeful display of both vintage and modern Star Wars figures.  What makes his collection really stand out is the amazing custom display pieces he has created.  Those who are active on forums at sites like Rebelscum.com, where he is better known has High Admiral “DarthMac”, know of the great work he has done.  And where the very humble customizer feels he still has work to do on his (already fantastic) displays, he did allow us a few quick shots of some of his work-in-progress display pieces.

Chris has created a work of art with his Tatooine Sandtrooper Patrol scene.

Next up is his incredible Bright Tree Village scene using material found from around his Evergreen tree surrounded home. Believe it or not but this is in his display case with complete with glass doors.

And finally an piece we were immediately drawn to was his screen accurate Bespin Carbon Freeze Chamber which according the DarthMac is currently on hiatus.

We want to thank Chris again for sharing his collection and custom work with us and look forward to seeing more from his displays in the future but until then,

May the Figures be with You!
