This past weekend Hasbro held a panel at not one but two European conventions. The first of which was MCM London Comic Con where they made several new reveals. Two Black Series figures from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, a single Vintage Collection figure (Cara Dune from The Mandalorian and not included below) and two roleplay items also based on The Mandalorian. We received a press release from Hasbro yesterday as they have just kicked off their international convention circuit today in France. At Paris Comic Con, Hasbro revealed two new Black Series figures: Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both figures are based on their Attack of the Clones appearance which is nice as the 6" line currently only has 6 figures from Episode II: Padme Amidala Jango Fett Clone Trooper Clone Trooper Captain Clone Trooper Commander Clone Trooper Sergeant Our friends at Fantha Tracks (all pics courtesy from them) were johnny on the spot with coverage of the event and will be covering MCM Comic Con as well so make sure to follow them! New images were also shown of a new Vintage Collection Cara Dune figure. This [...]
What a Force-filled Monday this has turned out to be! The morning began with a preview of the trailer which included an armada scene led by the Millennium Falcon which was flanked by The Ghost! New trailer tease promo for Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker ! #StarWars #TheRiseOfSkywalker pic.twitter.com/syZHH7PsZm — Zcure1 (@Zcure1) October 21, 2019 Now, this did not come as a surprise to us because back in August during D23 we pointed out that we believe Hera's ship could be seen in silhouette. The ticket for the first week of showings in December was made available through most chains just prior to 5 PM PST. We were able to snag tickets for the first showing on the 19th which will keep Jake's streak [...]
A huge thanks to our good friend Paul Van Dyk for the heads up on a new modern Kenner Star Wars action figure item. This tumbler appears to use the same standard Lucasfilm-approved images that most recently were used on a deck of playing cards. While this tumbler looks great, the images themselves are quite inaccurate when it comes to the vintage Kenner figure line. You can find the link for this item which is still listed as coming soon here. STAR WARS MINT IN BOX 16 OZ STAINLESS STEEL CAN TUMBLER The exciting new Star Wars x Igloo collection showcases the worldwide pop-culture phenomenon featuring iconic images and original artwork from the beloved saga. Whether one is strong with the Force, supports the Rebellion or [...]

This past weekend saw the release of the new merchandise for not only Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker but also The Mandalorian and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While the title implies this should have been the biggest celebration by three of Star Wars merchandise in years, in reality, it included none of the fanfare, bells nor whistles we’ve seen in the past four years of Disney-era Star Wars films. Unlike every major Star Wars film merchandise release date since 1999’s The Phantom Menace, there was no wide-spread midnight event taking place across the country or world. This is mostly due to the lack of Toys ‘R’ Us in the United States and fellow retailers like Target not having anyone to compete with for [...]
Today at New York Comic-Con 2019, Hasbro announced during there Star Wars Brand Panel a ton of new products that will be available this Fall. Many of the items were not based on the upcoming film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (actually only three were) but instead centered around Luke Skywalker himself. Many of the figures announced today will be exclusives and when it comes to The Vintage Collection, everything announced was a reissue of a figure previously released with either minor mold tweaking or paint updates. The day before the panel, the brand team appeared on Syfy Wire. Thanks to Fantha Tracks for the exclusive coverage: Hasbro has sent us the full press release and images today's panel presentation.
